Scratch the "tad", it's unbelievable how stupid someone can be.īlurb: When Aria betrays Luca by going behind his back for her family When I read this I was disappointed because all I wanted to say was "again?" First for Gianna and then for Lily, and now again, the girl never learns her lesson.Īctually reading the book: I was surprised (and not pleasantly) to find that the majority of the book was only books 2,3,4 and 5 from Aria's or Luca's POV. Where I was a bit okay with Aria being dumb in the first book since she was still young and was sheltered all her life, here it was a tad too annoying. We could then talk about how we feel when people copy us, and what we could do to communicate our feelings. Kyla doesn't once get frustrated with being copied throughout the book, which provides a positive example of a possible reaction to being copied/followed. Depending on the age of the students, they might have to deal with a younger sibling, or maybe a younger student if it's a mixed age group, following them around and copying what they do. ![]() In the book, the little sister copies everything Kyla does, until Kyla copies something that the little sister does. It could also be applicable to a family unit. It takes place in the winter, and we see the girls get bundled up and walk through the snow, so it would be a fun book to read during the winter, especially right after a snow. At the end of the book, though, there's a change as Kyla follows what the younger sister does. It follows them through their everyday activities, like eating breakfast and going to the store. It's about a young girl who follows everything her older sister, Kyla, does.
